テーマ性を込めたプロダクトラインとして、「沖繩文創」シリーズがスタートします。
「文創」とは、
古いものの価値を認め、そこから誇れる部分を見出し
今に活かすという考え方。
複雑な文化背景をもつ民族特有のアイデンティティーの揺らぎに対し、
ルーツを力に変え前に進もうとする力のことです。沖縄と同じく複雑な歴史的背景を持つ台湾では、この価値観によって一大ブームが起こりました。
第一弾は、
山でうねり歩く躍動的な虎をモチーフに
配色はトレンドのネオンカラーでストリートファッションテイストに。
これからの沖縄が価値を生み出し続ける島であることを祈って
沖縄伝統工芸の紅型作家知花幸修氏による
前向きでエネルギッシュなデザインメッセージでお届けします。

In March 2024, Kizuna will launch the "Okinawa Creative" series as a product line imbued with themes such as respect, inquiry, and values towards traditional craftsmanship, which Kizuna has cherished until now.The term "creative" (文創) refers to recognizing the value of old things, finding pride in them, and utilizing them in the present. It's an approach to embracing and utilizing the value of heritage, even amidst the fluctuating identity of ethnic groups with complex cultural backgrounds, by turning roots into strength and moving forward.In Taiwan, which shares similarly complex historical backgrounds with Okinawa, this mindset has sparked a major trend.The inaugural release features a dynamic motif of a tiger striding through the mountains, with color schemes reflecting neon trends, giving it a street fashion taste.With hopes that Okinawa will continue to generate value in the future, the series will be delivered with a positive and energetic design message by traditional Okinawan stencil dye artist Yukinobu Chibana.For those who want to protect something, who want to challenge themselves, this series is dedicated to you, so that you may move forward lightly yet powerfully towards what you cherish.This marks the start of a series delivered with heartfelt intentions.
